It feels incredibly sturdy and well-balanced once assembled.The real test, of course, was the breakfast run. As you can see from my photos, I cooked three sunny-side-up eggs with zero sticking. This pan is wonderful! It cooks meat the best. My chicken was golden brown and perfet! I was pleasantly surprised! My eggs do stick a little but I’m hoping I’ll figure out what I’m doing wrong.
I used this skillet for the first time tonight. I was so disappointed because it stuck so bad I had difficulty getting it clean.I cooked hamburgers and they stuck so bad, they totally fell apart. I then tried fried cornbread and I used a lot of shortening and they stuck worse than the hamburgers.
Nice and Heavy. Heats evenly. So far nothing has stuck to it.
Aside from being a bit heavy, the pan is overall quite good. The bottom design does a great job preventing food from sticking, and the size is just right—making it a solid choice for stir-frying and deep-frying. I use it on an induction cooktop, so I’m not sure how it would perform on an open flame stove.
