Wow! The diffuser on this is amazing! I'm not sure why a few other reviewers are complaining about it not drying hair. No, there isn't air flowing out the back of the diffuser very much. But it doesn't matter. It dries your hair fantastically, leaving your curls well defined! It also dries hair quickly - with or without the diffuser. My only complaint is that on high heat, it doesn't take long for the diffuser to get too hot to touch so you can't remove the diffuser immediately after using it. It's been doing a great job for several months so far and seems like it will last many years. It isn't any louder than a typical hair drier and I appreciate having different heat and fan speed levels instead of combining them into one switch. It also has a cold shot button.
